From 2 to 12 March, the sport centre “Academy of Winter Sports”, designed by Rosengineering will host competitions in ski racing and orienteering on skis as part of the 29th World Winter Universiade -2019. A positive conclusion of State expert review of the project documentation for the construction of a sports centre was received in 2016.

Universiade is taken every two years. Athletes will compete for 76 sets of awards in 11 sports: biathlon, alpine skiing, curling, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, orienteering, skiing, ice-skating, freestyle, hockey, hockey, short track.
